I have had the privilege of hosting Worry-Free Wednesday at the Seattle Public Library. Their classes are high quality. They have a wonderful way of engaging participants and making them feel comfortable enough to talk about tough topics. Thank you for the work you do!
Everything about your presentation was so good: your organization, your knowledge, your sharing of your special interest in the topic, which came through and made it all the more easy to absorb facts about such a difficult subject, your preparation of the packet of information which we can take our time to absorb. Take this show on the road everywhere you can!
Wow! The WFW event that we had was hugely attended and really appreciated - both for it's practical aspect (love having forms that we don't have to track down) plus the human aspect of doing this hard work. Both Wendy and Kay were really fabulous - and we are excited to have them back out again to present to another group!
Why is end of life planning a topic we tend to avoid since death is unavoidable? Thankfully, Worry-Free Wednesdays exists to ease the stigma and inform us! I had the privilege of attending a Worry-Free Wednesdays’ presentation a few months ago and came away inspired to get to my affairs in order. Wendy and Rob were the presenters, and both are so knowledgeable about the details and intricacies of end-of-life planning. Since attending I now feel more responsible and literally “worry-free” knowing I have expressed my wishes to my grown children and have the appropriate documents in place. I’ve also shared the Worry-Free Wednesdays site with many friends since it’s a terrific resource, although I recommend attending a valuable workshop if at all possible!
My company hosted Worry-Free Wednesdays as a speaker for our clients. We received rave reviews and all 10 out of 10s in our follow up survey. This is important content - it was delivered in a polished, comfortable and educational way.
I attended an excellent WFW workshop today. There was so much great information and numerous resources shared! I thought I had everything in order that I needed to but learned that’s not entirely the case. I have some work to do. I would highly recommend their workshops and making use of the resources they provide on their website. Do your family and friends a favor and have your affairs in order. Let them know your desires now while you are able to. Have those conversations and also put them into writing. It’s hard enough dealing with the loss of a loved one without having to figure out all the end-of-life details at that time.
Your joint presentations were outstanding. All this literature is sitting on the top of my desk, and will stay there until I complete it to my satisfaction. Thank you for the encouragement to delve in so I can create my own Worry-Free Wednesday. I'm actually looking forward to it.
A shout out to Wendy Norman who just concluded the best end of life workshop at Ida Culver House Broadview I've ever attended -- and there have been more than a few in my lifetime. It's an added bonus to find that Robb Miller is also on your team continuing his remarkable life's work.
Attending Wendy Norman’s “Worry Free Wednesday” session in Seattle a few years ago helped me to not only establish a plan, but I also learned how and the importance of communicating that end-of-life plan with my family. Wendy makes a very overwhelming subject approachable and actionable. Now, having the plan in place, I know my finances, my will and all the many logins I have across financial accounts, are all shared and documented. It gives me peace of mind that my loved ones will have less burden if something were to happen.
RevelEleven hosted Worry-Free Wednesdays for an End-of-Life Planning event in 2019 that was attended by over 100 women. The event was one of our most interactive--and has received some of the best audience feedback since we started our organization 6 years ago. Since then, we have hosted several follow up events with Worry-Free Wednesdays, and each event has achieved a striking balance between intimacy, knowledge and value. It is a delicate topic that requires a unique set of skills to navigate the complexities with professionalism as well as sensitivity, and Wendy Norman and her team are excellent resources!
Worry-Free Wednesdays is an amazing resource. I am dealing with end of life worries and complications with my mother and I find this website so helpful. There are videos, forms, experts to contact, etc...Tremendous planning and research has gone into the development of the resources; that takes away the guess work for people who are already emotionally drained from this very vulnerable experience. It's intelligent, viable and amazing!!!
Extremely credible, knowledgeable, and engaging group of individuals who are able to provide informative materials and actionable advice. Their deep expertise can help anyone understand the process and their real-world experience makes them a trustworthy partner.
I gained so much knowledge from Wendy and her team. I feel that I am ready to make educated decisions for my end-of-life planning. I would highly recommend them. They are a great resource.
As a longtime colleague and fan of WFW-founder Wendy Norman’s, I very much appreciate that she and her team are filling a critical gap: easy access to comprehensive, comprehensible information on end-of-life choices for Washingtonians. WFW’s mission is clear and purposeful, and its consultants are professional, compassionate, and committed to providing customized support in a critical area we all dread and yet will need to learn about at one point or another. Dying is not one-size-fits-all. Planning for it shouldn’t be, either. Grateful to Team WFW for getting out there and supporting the community, and recommend them highly.
It’s easy to become overwhelmed with the thought of planning for your end of life. And when overwhelmed, many of us (myself included) choose to ignore the topic altogether. The presentations by Worry-Free Wednesdays were thoughtful, educational, and the perfect mix of information, tools, and levity. Wendy has put together information and valuable step-by-step guidance on an important but often neglected topic to allow us to think about our end of life, and even more importantly, equipping us to plan for it.
The workshop was amazing. It was so helpful to get directives in place for myself, my aging parent and my adult children. Wendy and her team are extremely knowledgeable, and presented the information in a straightforward, kind way. This is a sensitive subject matter, but I'm feeling so much better having attended. This workshop would be valuable for anyone in any stage of life who wants to be prepared. I walked away feeling calm, knowing I now have a plan and the resources to accomplish it.
I attended the Worry-Free Wednesday workshop last week at Seattle's Townhall and it was life-changing. My husband and I left knowing that we need to have some personal conversations about how we want to respectfully leave this world...and what we want our legacies to be. The workshop was empowering ....not sad. The energy, confidence and experience that Wendy and Robb and the entire team brought to the sensitive topic of end-of-life made me want to manage it versus avoid it. Thank you to the Worry-free team...no worries here, only empowerment.
