Worry-Free Wednesdays aims to close the awareness gap that exists in understanding all end of life options that one can choose to maintain and protect their quality of life and their values. Unfortunately, too many people die without having their wishes known or honored. This is because they either didn't know what options they had, or they missed the chance to have the difficult but important conversations about their values and document them in a set of Advance Directives.
This is why Worry-Free Wednesdays was created. We want to help you and your loved ones be aware of the choices you have to honor what quality of life means to you until your final days. Our services will then show you how to create a set of Advance Directives and end of life plan that is best suited to your cultural, religious and philosophical values.
Once you’ve completed your plan, we encourage you to pick a Wednesday once a year to update and share it so no one is left guessing. The more people know and understand your values about living and dying, the better they can help honor your wishes.
Drawing on both professional and personal experience, our consultants will help guide you through some of the common obstacles and scenarios that arise as you approach end of life. We will also share best practices that can make conversations about end of life planning easier with those that support you. While our consultants do not offer financial, legal or medical advice, we can offer guidance toward helpful resources.
Worry-Free Wednesdays is non-denominational. We practice neutrality by introducing and respecting end-of-life options and choices. Our consulting services are available for anyone in need. White, Black, Brown and Indigenous people, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, people living with disabilities, those living with mental health issues, people living in poverty, and other underrepresented groups. As everyone will die, everyone deserves the chance to die on their terms.
